Hi, My name is Sally Rodriguez, I am a Bookkeeper looking for job and I have an interview question which arose after reading your newsletter. Body language and hands position. Is it ok to write notes while the HR or interviewer is talking about the position in question? I am referring to notes that I can use in order to answer questions or ask questions and for my reference after the interview.
Thank you

As long as you continue to engage with the interviewer and aren't tuning them out or reading off your notes, it's usually fine. If you're noting questions you'd like to ask or interesting pieces of information you want to recall later, they may even applaud you for your preparation and organization.
Keep in mind that by this point, you should have already researched the company and read the job description so you're not taking notes about what the company does or the general responsibilities required for the position. Taking notes on information that you should already know might lead your interviewer to believe you have not prepared.

A comment, not a question. I depend on filters to eliminate the chaff and leave the wheat so when your daily job report sent to me --for which I specified "Exclude Recruiters" (or whatevet language you use) as a search parameter, jobs posted by the following recruiters very often appear anyway:
taffing Now, Jemstone Associates, RWP Solutions, Juristaff, Beacon Associates, Appleone,Atrium, Administaff., and Green Key Resources.
These are ALL recruitment agencies in NYC (my geographic preference). If you are going to offer customized filtering, please make it be accurate!
This is also the case with the job site CareerKickoff which picks up listings from yours and those of indeed.com.
These agency names are clearly identified in the Simply Hired subhead under the job title so they are easily identifiable. I do understand that some others may slip through because their names don'e appear until the text but I do believe that your filter database of recruiter names needs to be examined.
Thank you..
P.S.. This was the only place I could find to contact you -- there didn't seem to be a general "Contact Us" option.
