Add or edit auto qualify/pre-made screener questions for a job posting

Step 3 of the Post a Job, Edit a Job, or Duplicate a Job wizard is to add auto qualify questions, also known as pre-made screener questions, to a job posting.

You can also add your own custom questions in Step 4, and reject applicants automatically based on their responses to your custom questions. You can use these custom screener questions to broadly assess the applicants for your job postings.

To add pre-made screener questions to a job posting

  1. To add pre-made screener questions for a new job posting, on the  Jobs page, select Post a job to start the Post a job wizard. Complete Steps 1 and 2 and select Continue.

    Or, to edit pre-made screener questions for an existing job posting, on the  Jobs page, find the job posting you want to edit and select Review Applicant > Edit Job, and then select Edit for the Pre-made Screener Questions section.

  2. Turn on any pre-made screener questions you want to use. Also specify if answers from applicants are required in order for job seekers to submit their applications.

    List of default screener questions with Active and Required selections for each question, and a section to add custom screener questions.

  3. When ready, select Save & Preview if you are done editing your job posting, or select Continue to progress to Step 4 of the wizard. See Add or edit custom screener questions for a job posting (including auto-reject).
