Send and manage applicant email

If your role permits, you can send email to an applicant. You can also reply to an email or forward an email to others on the hiring team for that job post. New emails appear in the Inbox; after they are read, they can be found in the applicant's Email tab.

To send an email to the applicant

  1. From the  Jobs page, click on a job posting to see the Applicants page for that job posting.

  2. Find and select the applicant. See Search for a revealed applicant.

  3. Select Email (or open the Email tab and select New Email).

  4. On the Send Email form, make selections and type the text of the email as needed:

    1. Make a selection in the From dropdown list. You can select either yourself as the sender, or your organization.

    2. Optional: choose an email template from the dropdown list. If you choose an email template, the text from the template populates the Subject and Message fields (you'll be able to edit the default text).

    3. Optional: add CC names to the email. Click the CC at the right of the To field, and then click in the CC field to select additional hiring team members to receive the email.

    4. Type new text or edit the default text for the Subject and the Message. Use the formatting bar to change the font, size, weight, color, etc. of the text.

    5. Optional: select Choose File to add an attachment to the message. Navigate to the file to attach and select Open.

  5. Select Send Email.

To reply to an email or forward an email

  1. From the  Jobs page, click on a job posting to see the Applicants page for that job posting.

  2. Find and select the applicant. See Search for a revealed applicant.

  3. Open the Email tab.

  4. Click or tap the email you want to reply to or forward.

  5. Select Reply, Reply All, or Forward as desired.

  6. On the Send Email form, make selections and type the text of the email as needed:

    3. If forwarding the mail, click in the To field to select hiring team members to receive the email.

    5. Type new text or edit the default text for the Subject and the Message. Use the formatting bar to change the font, size, weight, color, etc.

    6. Optional: select Choose File to add an attachment to the message. Navigate to the file to attach and select Open.

  7. Select Send Email.
