Why was my job paused?

Why was my job paused?

If your job has received several applicants, but you haven’t revealed or marked the applicant as Not Interested, SimplyHired may automatically change the status of your job to Paused on your behalf.

When you reveal an applicant or mark them as Not Interested, it helps the applicant to move forward in their job seeker journey.  When job seekers don’t receive a response from employers, it can be detrimental to the applicant’s SimplyHired experience and to the employer’s reputation.

Additionally, inactive jobs can have a negative performance impact on your job’s performance metrics, such as Impressions, Clicks, and Applies.
